Strategies to promote customer loyalty and encourage direct bookings
Six out of ten vacation bookings are made online, but only two are made directly on hotel platforms. According to a new Amadeus report on direct bookings, the hospitality industry must rethink its strategy for attracting and retaining customers to increase revenue.
A recent study by h2c found that 20% of the hotel chains surveyed were dissatisfied with their current booking systems, mainly due to the lack of personalization and customization of offers and were even considering investing in new systems over the next three years to better attract, convert and retain guests through more direct bookings.
