Amadeus has published the latest version of its accommodation bulletin. Considering the global data for August, all the world regions will have surpassed the results obtained in August 2022, but with lower results compared to the same month in 2019. Brands and OTAs continue to perform well in terms of bookings, at the expense of direct sales. Europe is the 2nd world region with the highest levels of bookings, at around 45%.
According to data collected up to July 21, Europe was the 2nd region with the highest occupancy rates, only surpassed by the South Pacific.
