Overnight stays grow again in June 2025
The tourist accommodation sector in Portugal recorded 3.1 million guests and 8.1 million overnight stays in June 2025, translating into year-on-year growth of 2.5% and 3.1%, respectively.
Data released on 31 July by the National Statistics Institute (INE) indicate that overnight stays by non-residents grew again.
Germany stands out among the international markets with the highest growth. Canada also shows a significant increase, followed by the United States. The United Kingdom remains the main source market.
All regions of the country recorded increases in the number of overnight stays, with revenues continuing to grow.
