Portuguese hotel sector shows growth in the first quarter of 2025
According to Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), the Portuguese hotel sector showed growth in the first quarter of 2025.
There was a 3 per cent increase in the number of guests and a significant 5.2 per cent increase in total revenue, reaching 840 million euros.
The number of hotel guests continued its upward trajectory, with a 3.2 per cent increase on the previous year.
Both the average daily rate and revenue per available room (RevPAR) showed robust growth of approximately 4 per cent. These increases suggest that the sector is successfully utilising pricing strategies to drive revenue growth.
