The Government’s objective “is to start Portugal 2030 by the end of the year”
In an intervention at the invitation of the American Chamber of Commerce in Portugal, entitled “Strategy for a decade and European funds”, the Minister of Planning made it clear that the Government’s objective “is to start Portugal 2030 by the end of the year”.
Nelson Souza explained that Portugal 2030 maintains seven regional operational programs, but the thematic programs will be reduced to three: Demography, Qualifications and Inclusion (which will replace the current Human Capital Operational Program (POCH) and the Social Inclusion and Employment Operational Program (PO ISE )), Innovation and Digital Transition (which corresponds to the current COMPETE), and Climate Transition and Resource Sustainability, which will take the place of the current Operational Program for Sustainability and Efficiency in the Use of Resources (POSEUR).
