In Europe, it is Lisbon’s hotels that have appreciated the most over the last decade, just behind Athens and Madrid, with an average annual increase of 5.7% in the average value per room between 2013 and 2023, according to the “European Hotel Valuation Index 2024” by HVS, which presents data from more than 30 European cities.
