Phase III of the REVIVE Program

The government is moving ahead with phase III of the Revive Program, promoting the allocation of a new set of 15 properties, with the aim of safeguarding and enhancing public heritage and ensuring its economic and tourist use.
Of these 15 properties, the following have already been designated under the Tourism Agenda for the Interior:
Termas das Caldas de Moledo, in Peso da Régua and Mesão Frio
Casa do Brasileiro, in São João da Pesqueira
Quinta do Mosteiro de São Pedro de Folques, in Arganil
Former Caramulo Children’s Sanatorium, in Tondela
Casa dos Almeidas, in Sardoal
Castle and Portilheiro House, in Crato
Convent of Nossa Senhora do Desterro, in Monchique

In addition to these buildings, there are the following:

Former Santa Casa da Misericórdia Hospital, Ribeira Grande (Azores)
Former Portalegre Sanatorium, in Portalegre
Ponte da Pedra Farm and Palace, in Matosinhos
Former Torreira Holiday Camp, in Murtosa
Former Convent of Senhora da Alegria and Former Barracks of the Medieval Borough, in Castelo de Vide
Former Slaughterhouse, in Barcelos
Former Psychiatric Center of Arnes, in Soure
Palace Hotel do Buçaco, in Mealhada
Also announced was the opening of a new public tender for the concession for a period of 50 years of the building complex in Estremoz that includes the Casa das Fardas, the former Royal Seat used as the Army Uniforms Warehouse in the Province of Alentejo.
