North American summer travel trends | 2025
Lisbon is in the Top-10 European destinations for US travellers for next summer, with more than 150,000 trips forecast for that period.
US tourists represent the 2nd largest source market in terms of global international tourism spending, reaching 158.7 billion dollars by 2023, according to Statista.
This amount of expected trips places Lisbon in 9th place among all European destinations, practically on a par with Madrid.
