INVEST RAM 2020
Recipients
Preferably Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), as defined in Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC of 6 May, located in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, with SME certification obtained from the site www.ideram.pt.
Types of operation
- Tangible and/or intangible investments, as well as working capital, which is limited to a maximum of 10% of the total investment;
- Acquisition of property, provided it is used for business activity;
- Acquisition of land, with ou without buildings, as long as it is used to carry out the business activity, this portion of funding being limited to a maximum of 10% of the total eligible expenditure for the operation.
Main access conditions
Companies
- Having their licensing situation regularised;
- Have a balanced economic and financial situation or demonstrate the ability to finance the operation;
- Have fulfilled all obligations related to the Tax Authorities and Social Security;
- Have no debts to the entities that pay financial support;
- Have no unjustified incidents with the Banks.
Funding
Maximum amount per project
4.25 million euros.
Repayment period
- Up to and including 6 years, including a grace period of up to 12 months, for financing up to 250 000 euros;
- Up to and including 10 years, including a grace period of up to 18 months, for financing of more than 250 000 euros.
Interest rate
Applied, by agreement between the Credit Institution and the recipient, as a fixed or variable interest rate, with a maximum spread of 3.4% to be applied by the bank.
The interest rate will be subsidized by 60% of the contracted spread, with the possibility of this subsidy being cumulatively increased by:
a) 20% when the company creates or maintains the volume of employment;
b) 20% when the project meets the innovation criteria defined by the Managing Entity of the Line.
Mutual guarantee
- Provision of a mutual guarantee of up to 80% of the outstanding capital at any given time;
- Mutual guarantee fee of up to 1.6%, fully subsidised.
