New rules for data simplification and interoperability in the Public Administration
Decree-Law no. 28/2024, of April 3, introduced changes to the special regime for the online incorporation of commercial and civil companies in commercial form, implemented through the Empresa Online 2.0 platform, which makes it possible to reduce bureaucracy and simplify the process of setting up companies.
The changes are aimed at evolving and improving the services provided under the online company incorporation scheme, through the provision of new technological solutions and updated digital services, including the creation and provision of a specific electronic page dedicated to each entity and interoperability between the new “Empresa Online 2.0” platform and other public information systems.
